To start, Xbox is celebrating its 25th birthday with a new limited-edition console bundle that costs $900. This bundle includes a translucent Xbox Series X, which means the plastic shell of the console is see-through green. It also comes with a matching green controller and a digital copy of the classic game Halo: Campaign Evolved. Each console has its own special number engraved on it. If you want one, you can preorder it on August 27 at 10 AM ET. The bundle will ship on November 15. If $900 is too expensive, you can buy just the special green controller for $80.
On the road, Volvo is updating its electric vehicles so they can talk to each other to prevent accidents. Only 3 models, the EX90, ES90, and EX60, will use cameras and sensors to spot dangers. This includes things like wild animals, people walking, bike riders, and car crashes. When a Volvo car sees a hazard, it sends the location to Volvo's internet servers. The system then alerts other Volvo drivers heading toward that same spot. Volvo also announced that its EX90 car will support spatial audio for Apple CarPlay. Spatial audio is a technology that makes music sound like it is wrapping all around you inside the car.
